For more than 30 years, Father Gregory Boyle has worked tirelessly to bring hope to the streets of LA. The organization that grew from that effort, Homeboy Industries, is now the largest gang-intervention program in the world.

Author Alison Carlson enlisted acclaimed photographer Michael Collopy to help commemorate this milestone. Clabaugh Media was asked to develop a concept to bring his striking portraits to life, creating a video to help share these incredible stories of redemption.

When you feature what's often ranked as the top golf course in the Austin area, it would be easy to rest on your laurels. But families today expect more from their community than just a place to call home (and a Jack Nicklaus signature course).  In what continues to be one of the hottest markets in the country, Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club needed a way to stand out. So we helped them create a series of social media pieces that would highlight all the amazing things they have to offer.

This project was rewarding in so many ways. CEO Paul Goodner is the type of client that you're always hoping to meet. The trust and confidence he showed time and again made our work together that much more enjoyable, and I think it comes across in the piece we created. 

It's easy for a builder to claim that they focus on the details, do things differently, et cetera. What's unique about Paul and his company is that it's true; every person working on a Goodner Brothers house-- whether sketching a floorplan or swinging a hammer-- cares deeply about the work. And it shows in the houses, and among the communities where his skills and craftmanship are becoming increasingly sought-after.

Innovators in eco-friendly footwear, TredAgain invented a patented method that has completely revolutionized the rubber recycling process. Unlike other companies that glue a scrap of recycled rubber onto a shoe and call it "green," TredAgain is committed to brining sustainable practices to every aspect of their business. APX, their recycled rubber product, is actually of higher quality than the rubber it's made from.

I'm always humbled and inspired when I get the opportunity to work with the young men and women who choose to join our military. And of all the branches in the Army, Infantry is the one that seems to draw young soldiers from the most diverse backgrounds.

This piece also represented a bit of a shift in approach for this client, as I proposed a concept with a more historical aspect to it than much of what we've done in the past. With tremendous support of the National Infantry Museum at Fort Benning, we were able to help bring some of the history of the branch to life, and it added effective bookends to the piece.

When Charles approached me to create a trailer for his debut novel, I was on board right away. The story of his tireless efforts to navigate the publishing world (coupled with his contagious passion for this project) was reason enough for me. But the challenge of creating a book trailer was new for me. The paths we could travel were simultaneously wide-open, and yet very specific; I couldn't say "yes" fast enough. If the trailer we created conveys even a fraction of the excitement and drama of the novel, I'll call that a win.

We were faced with unique challenges when the client expressed a desire to use an infographic approach to show prospective soldiers the many benefits of Army service. My role was to help generate the storyline, guide the development and creation of assets, and oversee the fine-tuning of the animation. Seeing this piece evolve from storyboard to animatic to final delivery made the long hours worth while.
